About Us
Select A Flush is a family owned company created by a family’s need to conserve in every possible way. With a large family, a septic system and water constantly running, David Bauer, father of 3 boys and inventor of Select A Flush, decided to get busy. He sat at the dining room table (with his wife’s reluctant approval), covered it for 6 months with various toilet parts and started building and testing a prototype.
After he figured it out he called his Uncle John, a prototype specialist, and told him to start working. With the help of Bruce Okkema of Eagle Design and Technology Inc. in Michigan, Select A Flush was born.
